Weekly Training Report!
In this weekly training report you will see that my mileage was SUPER low compared to the last several training reports. My weekly average pace was 6:41 per mile!
Weekly Training Report: Total – 37.08 miles.
Run Total – 37.08 miles.
Hike Total – 0 miles.
Bike Total – 0 miles.
Sunday July 3 – 2.75 mile run.
Sunday, I ran 2.75 miles in 00:20:19.
Monday July 4 – 6.43 miles – Independence Day 5k Race Recap!
Monday morning, before the race, I ran 1.68 miles as a warm up. Then during the Independence Day 5k, I ran the race in 17:47, followed by a cool down of 1.55 miles.
Tuesday July 5 – 7.25 miles.
Tuesday morning I ran 3.5 miles in 00:25:34. In the evening, I did another short run for 3.75 miles in 00:25:08.
Wednesday July 6 – 5.6 miles.
I ran in the rain on Wednesday evening and it was fantastic! I ran 5.6 miles in 00:36:45. Super refreshing!
Thursday July 7 –5.15 miles.
Thursday we drove up from home in Tennessee to my gramma’s house outside of the Toledo, Ohio area. I ran 5.15 miles in 00:32:53, then walked with my wife and gramma for another 1.5 to 2 miles.
Friday July 8 – 4.6 miles.
Friday we spent the day with my gramma and great gramma. We had a great time, playing games, relaxing and catching up. In the evening, we traveled near Cedar Point in Ohio to my wife’s grandparent’s house. I went for a 4.6 mile run in the area and almost got lost a time or two. I completed the run in 00:30:25.
Saturday July 9 – 5.3 miles.
Saturday we spent most of the day at my wife’s family reunion near Cedar Point, Ohio. In the evening, we went to one of my wife’s high school friend’s house near Columbus, Ohio. Late that night around 8:30 PM, I went for a 5.3 mile run which took 00:34:34.
A super low mileage week but we had a lot going on and that’s ok!
I almost reached my goal for the Independence 5k, I was shooting for 17:30 to 17:45 since I hadn’t done a 5k in ages. I was just shy by two seconds. That’s ok!
