Weekly Training Report!

My weekly average pace was 6:29 per mile in this weekly training report. I felt off this week, so I decided not to run as much. I’m not sure if it’s a mixture of the heat, running the same routes over and over again, or what. I’ve also felt somewhat bored, too. I’ve been struggling with waking up early and doing morning workouts, so most of my runs have been in the evening.

Weekly Training Report: Total – 28.13 miles.
Run Total – 21.35 miles.
Hike Total – 0 miles.
Bike Total – 6.78 miles.

Sunday July 24 – 4.85 mile run.

I ran 4.85 miles in 00:32:55.

Monday July 25 – 4.15 mile run, 6.78 mile bike.

Monday I ran 1.5 miles in the morning in 0:09:55, followed by some strength training. In the evening I bike 6.78 miles, and ran 2.65 miles in 0:19:38. I wanted to try to get some intense repeats in, but the heat wasn’t mixing well with my body.

Tuesday July 26 – 10.2 miles.

Tuesday morning I ran 3.25 miles in 00:21:58. In the evening, I did another run for 7.15 miles in 00:46:18.

Wednesday July 27 – 3.25 miles.

Wednesday I ran 3.25 miles in 00:22:00.

Thursday July 28 – 2.35 miles.

Thursday I ran 2.35 miles in 0:15:33.

Friday July 29 – 1.5 miles.

Friday we drove to Nashville to see some friends and my wife’s mom was in town, too. So I ran a short, decent effort around where we were staying. I ran 1.5 miles in 0:09:33.

Saturday July 30 – 2 miles.

Saturday, I ran 2 miles in 0:11:57.


Not much training this week, as I’ve been in a little rut due to monotony, heat, etc. Hopefully more training will come back into my life soon!
