Best Running Socks!

There are so many sock options out there, with new sock companies popping up all the time. Some of the best running shoes out are the ones that will help prevent blisters and will keep your feet comfortable for the duration of your run.

Each person may have a different idea of the best running socks. There are even people who prefer to run barefoot in their shoes, which is totally doable! The hard part about running without socks is that if a grain of dirt or a rock gets in the shoe and rubs your foot wrong, you’ll more than likely get blisters.

This exact thing happened to me during the Half IronMan Collegiate Championships in 2010. I was sitting in top three going into the run. Within three miles of the run, my feet were all bloody. I normally would have been able to catch the leaders, but I was in so much pain. Now I run in socks and have had no issues, even during races like the Nashville Ultra!
